Research article from NSE Dept accepted for IAEA (EXFOR) Data Repository

An article published by a MSc Engineering student from NSE Dept in “Radiation Physics and Chemistry (Elsevier)” journal has been accepted by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for EXFOR data Library maintained by the International Network of Nuclear Reaction Data Centers (NRDC) coordinated by the IAEA Nuclear Data Section, Vienna, Austria on 9 January 2020. The EXFOR library contains an extensive compilation of experimental nuclear reaction data. Neutron reactions have been compiled systematically in EXFOR since the discovery of the neutron. EXFOR is the exchange format for the transmission of experimental nuclear reaction data between national and international nuclear data centers for the benefit of nuclear data users worldwide. This research was supervised by Dr. Mohammad Amirul Islam, Principal Scientific Officer, INST, AERE, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission and coordinated by Lt Col Md Altab Hossain, PhD from NSE Dept. The authors of the article are Md. Mustafa Zaved, Dr. Mohammad Amirul Islam, and Lt Col Md Altab Hossain, PhD. The article reference is Zaved et al., Radiat. Phys. Chem. 166 (2020) and the experimental cross sectional results of M.M.Zaved et al., Radiat. Phys. Chem. 166(2020)108471 compiled in the EXFOR (31814) database will be appeared in online within a few months.
