Objectives:
1. To examine the water quality for the selected remote area camps. 2. To explore secured sources of drinking water for the remote camps. 3. To introduce solar driven pumps and also to investigate the suitability of the solar pumps for extracting groundwater to solve the water crisis. |

Expected Research Outcome:
i. This research is expected to identify a secured source of fresh water to the personnel stationed in the selected remote camps ii. This research may introduce a cost effective and renewable energy driven water supply system to the selected remote camps. |
