Objective:
A number of things, such as driver error, mechanical failure, climatic circumstances, or road hazards, can cause them. Implementing efforts to prevent accidents and enhance road safety requires an understanding of their causes. Enforcing traffic laws, enhancing infrastructure, encouraging driver training, and developing vehicle safety technologies are some actions taken to reduce accidents. The objective of this research is to reduce accidents, save lives, and develop safer transportation infrastructure. The key objectives of this research are given below:
a. To collect and preprocess historical road accident data in Dhaka City.
b. To develop a machine learning-based model for time-series analysis of road accidents. hotspots using spatial and temporal analysis.
c. To identify accident to create a forecasting model to predict future road accident occurrences.
d. To develop a recommendation system that provides actionable insights and safety suggestions for users.
Expected outcome
1. A robust machine learning-based system for detecting and forecasting road accidents.
2. Identification of accident hotspots in Dhaka City.
3. A recommendation system that provides real-time safety suggestions to users based on identified hotspots and predicted accidents.
