RESEARCH ASSISTANT RECRUITMENT CIRCULAR AT EECE DEPARTMENT 2025
The Department of Electrical, Electronic and Communication Engineering (EECE) of the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) invites applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Full-Time Research Assistant (RA). The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Principal Investigator (PI) of the research project titled: “Development of an Artificial Intelligence Enabled Digital Twin of a Solar Photovoltaic Plant to Enhance Renewable Penetration in the Power Grid of Bangladesh” for three years. Details of the post are as follows:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) or equivalent in EEE/EECE/CSE from a recognized university.
Required Skills:
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent technical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in programming languages, specifically Python and MATLAB
• Strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning.
• Experience in Embedded System i.e., Sensor integration, microcontroller, IoT interfacing, Data handling
• Effective time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Conduct literature reviews and perform research experiments.
• Analyze data and compile results.
. Maintain research equipment and manage data archives.
• Prepare presentations and reports to provide frequent project progress updates to the funding authority.
• Document research processes.
• Assist in PV project installation, cost estimation, and vendor management.
The Consolidated Salary is expected to be BDT 25,000 (inclusive of government taxes) per month.
