Water Permeability Test

Water Permeability Test

Water permeability testing is essential for evaluating the durability of concrete structures. The Water Permeability Apparatus measures the depth of water penetration under pressure, ensuring the quality and strength of construction materials. It is a device used to measure the rate at which water passes through a material, typically soil, concrete, or other porous substances. It helps determine the permeability or hydraulic conductivity of a material, indicating how easily water can flow through it.

Samples that can be tested

  • Cubic, cylindrical or prismatic of length of edge, or diameter not less than 150 mm – between two flanges with special circular gaskets
